Senior AI Engineer

About This Role

We were looking for an experienced AI Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for enterprise clients. This role involved architecting and implementing complex AI systems, working directly with Fortune 500 companies in the airline and travel industry.

The ideal candidate brought deep expertise in building production-grade AI applications and had a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible with large language models and multi-agent systems.

What You Would Do

• Lead architecture and development of AI-powered applications serving millions of users
• Design and implement multi-agent AI systems using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, and our own KaibanJS
• Build robust RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for enterprise knowledge bases
• Optimize LLM performance, latency, and cost across production deployments
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct thorough code reviews
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Drive technical decisions and establish best practices for AI development
• Contribute to open-source projects and represent AI Champions at conferences

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong foundations in system design
• 2+ years hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies in production environments
• Expert-level Python and TypeScript skills
• Deep experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, open-source models)
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI agents and multi-agent orchestration systems
• Background in NLP research or computational linguistics
• Contributions to open-source AI projects
• Experience with model deployment and MLOps
